Dr. Afsharzand was a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine from 1994-2017. She is a former group leader and is currently a part time clinical associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She established Cherry Hill Dental Excellence in 2004, providing general and specialty prosthodontic dental treatment in a unique clinical setting. She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Cleft-Palate Craniofacial Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Afsharzand has two grown daughters, one just graduated college and her other is just starting college. Dr. Afsharzand continues to excel in her knowledge and skills by going to numerous continuing education courses. She enjoys painting, yoga, likes to travel in her free time and recently started pursuing scuba diving as a hobby.
Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration and replacement of teeth. These dental specialists receive two years of postdoctoral, specialized training. Dr. Roojul Trivedi has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to her dental profession, having earned her Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from Government Dental College, Jamnagar, India, followed by a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the esteemed University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Her dedication and passion for dentistry are evident through her accomplishment of an honor thesis based on successful research, along with her regular attendance at seminars and conferences to stay current in her field.

She not only strives to further her education but also ensures the use of the highest quality materials and cutting-edge equipment in dentistry. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Roojul is a well-rounded individual with a love for dancing, singing, and a passion for sports, particularly basketball. She enjoys traveling with her family and partaking in outdoor activities, highlighting her zest for life beyond the realm of dentistry.
Roya is certified in Office Management and Development and graduated from Brooklyn College, NY. She has been working with Dr. A for the past 8 years and loves to see patients happy. She enjoys being part of what she calls an ‘outstanding, charismatic office.’ Roya grew up in New York and currently lives in South Jersey with her husband and daughter with whom she enjoys cooking, rock climbing and helping her be an exceptional Girl Scout.
Fatemeh known as Mrs. Fay has been an integral part Cherry Hill Dental Excellence since its inception. Armed with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from Fordham University, she brings a profound understanding of human behavior and a compassionate approach to her role. With years of experience under her belt, Mrs. Fay has evolved into a multifaceted professional, seamlessly blending the realms of business administration, patient advocacy, and insurance management.
Janet has been in the dental field for more than 20 years in various capacities and is thrilled to be a part of Cherry Hill Dental Excellence’s collaborative spirit and highly trained team. She especially enjoys seeing Leo wag his happy tail as he goes from room to room bringing smiles to everyone. Janet is a native New Yorker but has made Cherry Hill, NJ her home.
Peg S., CDA, RDA, RDH, is a dedicated dental hygienist with decades of experience. Recognized by the American Dental Association for outstanding achievements, Peg is an active member of the Southern New Jersey Dental Hygiene Association, serving on the board for several years. With her warm and caring demeanor, Peg helps patients achieve optimum dental health using the latest techniques. Excitingly, she's incorporating advanced laser technology into our practice for periodontal treatment and aesthetics, providing cutting-edge solutions with enhanced comfort. Peg's commitment to professional development ensures our patients receive top-notch care. We're fortunate to have her on our team, where her genuine passion for dentistry shines through every day.
Casie has recently joined our amazing team bringing her nine years experience as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Camden County Dental Hygiene program in 2013.
She enjoys being part of a team that provides such a high level of care and the latest cutting edge technology. She is a dedicated clinician and a team player who works well with her co-workers.
Outside of work, Casie enjoys traveling with her fiancé and friends and being with her 2 dogs Mazzie and Zayla.
Andrea joined our team in 2023. She graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Health Sciences and brings over 25 years experience with her. She loves being part of a team that is staying at the forefront of technology by utilizing the latest tools and techniques to ensure the highest standard of care. Her top priority is providing a calm and relaxed experience, while putting patients at ease, by building trust and confidence during their time together.
Linda has been a valued member of Cherry Hill Dental Excellence for the past 8 years. Holding an Associate Degree from Camden County College and boasting over two decades of experience in the field, she brings extensive expertise to her role. Linda enjoys the calm atmosphere of the office, the staff and patients feel like family to her. Outside of work, she cherishes her role as a devoted wife and mother to her two sons, as well as her beloved dog, Harper.
Priya, who holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from India and completed the Dental Assisting Program at West Chester School of Dental Assisting, has recently become a part of Cherry Hill Dental Excellence. Drawn by its collaborative environment, she values the team's dedication to putting patients first. Outside of work, Priya, happily married with a lovely young daughter, finds joy in traveling and singing.
Studies show a 43% reduction in anxious activity of a person who receives animal therapy. Leo, a certified AKC Therapy Dog, was trained by Pet Assisted Visitation Volunteer Services, (PAWS), a nonprofit therapy organization that trains pets to calm patients who suffer from depression or anyone whose anxiety may elevate before a dental procedure. Leo is trained to sit with patients and cuddle, if patient is willing, until they feel ready for their procedure. According to Dr. Afsharzand, “Leo is the staff member everyone loves the most.”
